Love That Door currently has 4 design center locations. You can visit us in Frisco, Grapevine, or Fort Worth!

What are your hours?
All of our design centers are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM!

What is your current lead time?
Our lead time is usually between 16-20 weeks upon CAD approval. We keep you updated on the status of your door’s production, shipping, and installation so that you’re never out of the loop.

Installations
01.
HOW LONG WILL MY INSTALLATION TAKE?
THE LENGTH OF INSTALLATION VARIES FROM DOOR TO DOOR, DEPENDING ON SIZE OF YOUR NEW DOOR, AND ANY DEMOLITION NEEDED TO MAKE IT FIT INTO THE OPENING. THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY WE ASK YOU TO BE AVAILABLE THE ENTIRE DAY OF INSTALLATION.

WILL MY DOOR WORK AFTER INSTALLATION?
YES, YOUR DOOR WILL BE FULLY OPERATIONAL AND SECURED AFTER INSTALLATION. YOUR INSTALLATION TEAM WILL GO OVER THE DIFFERENT DOOR ELEMENTS AND THEIR FUNCTION, BEFORE THEY LEAVE FOR THE DAY.

WHAT DOES THE INSTALLATION PROCESS ENTAIL?
YOUR INSTALLATION TEAM WILL ARRIVE AT YOUR HOME WITHIN THE SCHEDULED WINDOW. THEY WILL COLLECT THE PAYMENT DUE (IF IT HAS NOT BEEN COLLECTED) DURING INSTALLATION, THEY WILL:
- REMOVE YOUR OLD DOOR,
- REMOVE ANY BRICK OR STUCCO NECESSARY TO ENSURE A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR NEW DOOR
- PUT IN THE NEW DOORFRAME
- INSTALL DOOR AND DOORSTOP/WINDOWSTOP (IF ORDERED)
- DRILL OR INSTALL ALARM SENSORS (IF ORDERED)
- INSTALL GLASS
- INSTALL LOCK, DO REKEY (IF ORDERED)
- ADJUST ROLLER CATCHERS AND WEATHERSTRIPPING
- INSTALL/RE-INSTALL TRIM
- REVIEW DIFFERENT DOOR ELEMENTS WITH YOUR AND MAKE SURE YOU CAN OPERATE YOUR NEW DOOR.
04.
WHEN WILL THE REST OF THE WORK BE FINISHED?
THE SCHEDULING DEPARMENT WILL CONTACT YOU WITHIN THE NEXT 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE TO SCHEDULE THE NEXT STEPS. BRICKWORK AND STUCCO WORK WILL BE SCHEDULED FIRST, FOLLOWED BY THE FINAL TOUCH UP.
05.
MY NEW DOOR HAS SCRATCHES AND LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE SOME DENTS/GOUGES IN IT. WHAT NOW?
SOME MINOR SCRATCHES AND COSMETIC DEFECTS ARE EXPECTED AS YOUR DOOR WAS TRANSPORTED IN A WOODEN CRATE AND INSIDE A SHIP CONTAINER. KEEP IN MIND YOUR DOOR IS MADE FROM HAND-WROUGHT IRON AND SOME COSMETIC DEFECTS ARE NORMAL. THE FINAL TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT WILL TAKE CARE OF ANY PAINTING AND TOUCH UPS NEEDED FOR YOUR DOOR. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE PAINT FOR THE INTERIOR TRIM TO MATCH THE REST OF YOUR HOUSE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE INTERIOR TRIM TO MATCH THE COLOR OF THE DOOR, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL COST FOR THAT, AND YOU CAN DISCUSS IT WITH YOUR SALES CONSULTANT OR THE PROJECT COORDINATOR SO WE CAN ADD IT TO YOUR INVOICE.
06.
I NEED TO/ WANT TO CANCEL MY DOOR ORDER. WHAT KIND OF REFUND WILL I RECEIVE?
OUR CONTRACT STATES THAT CANCELLATIONS WITH REFUND ARE ONLY PERMITTED IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES:
- WITHIN 3 DAYS OF CONTRACT SIGNING, BEFORE CAD IS FINALIZED – FULL REFUND OF DEPOSIT PAID
- BEFORE FINAL CAD APPROVAL – FULL REFUND MINUS A 10% AMOUNT OF TOTAL CONTRACT COST (IF YOUR DOOR IS $5,000, WE WILL RETAIN $500 (10% OF TOTAL) CONTRACT) AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A $2000 REFUND
- AFTER FINAL CAD HAS BEEN APPROVED AND YOUR DOOR IS IN CONSTRUCTION: WE WILL RETAIN 25% OF THE DEPOSIT PAID (IF YOUR DOOR IS $5,000, YOUR DEPOSIT WAS $2500. WE WILL RETAIN $675) AND REFUND THE REST OF YOUR DEPOSIT.
- HOA DENIED PERMIT TO INSTALL OR REMODEL – FULL REFUND OF DEPOSIT PAID

CAN I MAKE A PAYMENT AFTER INSTALLATION?
We have a three tiered payment model with 50% payment due at the time of purchase, 40% due at the time of installation scheduling, and the remaining 10% due at the time of scheduling for the final touch up.

CAN I APPLY TO THE FINANCIAL PROGRAM AFTER MY ORDER BEEN PLACED FOR THE REMAINING BALANCE?
You must apply for financing at the time of your consultation as financing is subject to your individual credit worthiness.
